The short version

Your serve videos and the body tracking made from them stay on your phone. We never upload them. We collect anonymous usage data to make the app better, and nothing that identifies you by name or email.

What stays on your device

Videos you record or choose, the pose (body position) data the app measures from them, your scores, drills and serve history. They are stored in the app's local storage on your phone and are deleted if you delete the app or clear its data.

What we collect

  • Usage events — for example that an analysis started, finished or failed, how long it took, and which screens were opened and for how long.
  • A random app ID — created on your device so we can tell sessions apart. It isn't linked to your name, email, contacts or advertising ID.
  • Crash and error reports — what went wrong in the app, so we can fix it.
  • Session replays — a recording of how the app's screens were used (taps and scrolling). Text you type is masked, and videos and the camera image are never recorded.
  • Feedback you choose to send — answers to in-app questions such as "Was this right?" or the feedback survey.

How we use it

Only to run and improve TennisSwing: fixing bugs, speeding up analysis and checking that coaching is accurate. We don't sell data, show ads or track you across other apps and websites.

Who processes it

Usage data is processed by PostHog, our analytics provider, on our behalf. The site is hosted by Vercel.

Your choices

You can delete everything stored on your device by deleting the app. To ask us to delete analytics linked to your app ID, email support@tennisswing.app. TennisSwing isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes
